Austria Rework
The whole country of Austria has been reworked, as previously it was one of the original areas older than Euro Truck Simulator 2 when it was released in 2012. All the cities, surrounding areas and road network have been completely overhauled including the famous Alps!
We believe the driver will face quite a challenge when passing through the winding roads that cross this valley.
Company Logo Revision
Some in-game company logos have been reworked!
New modern logos, still staying true to their color schemes, but bringing a modern and fresh touch to older companies. Staying modern and up-to-date is important for any company, even our virtual company!
Refund Features
'Mod Refund' feature. Simply put, once a player downloads a third-party mod and installs it on their truck, they may in the future want to remove it (or may even be incompatible). This new feature reads and recognizes data from the mod, even if it has been removed, and will refund the difference.
Official vs Unofficial Icon Display in Modified UI
When the player modifies the vehicle, you will see a new icon that appears when selecting accessories. In total there are 4 new icons added, when you hover your mouse over the icon a description will appear like this:
Factory parts - Stock parts sold by manufacturers (including interiors)
Licensed part - Anything officially licensed that wasn't manufactured by the truck manufacturer
Aftermarket part - Any additional accessory not associated with the brand.
Unknown part - Unknown part or in some cases, third party mod
Accurate Distance Measuring System
Mileage markings are now available in Euro Truck Simulator 2, adding an extra layer to the signage. It will show the distance traveled to the city.
Very useful for players who turn off GPS and like the challenge of following road signs to their destination. It also gives you an idea of when you should stop for refueling and/or rest, etc.

Passing the Unmarked Path
When you drive onto an unmarked road, you will be sent a message on the route pointer, and the already traveled roads will appear on the map as an orange dotted line, and the uncrossed sections will be shown in gray. On the one hand, this will ensure that you will quickly realize that you have found something interesting.
Improved Force Feedback
Especially for steering wheel users. This update also provides several new improvements to force feedback when playing ETS2 to make it more realistic.
These improvements include:
Missed gear vibration effect when using manual shifting.
Tire slip effect when the vehicle rolls.
Apply pressure when turning.
The frictional force that provides feedback depends on the steering speed.
Horizontal Interior Camera Lock
This new feature is only for interior camera, there is a new setting in the gameplay menu. So the driver's camera is like using a camera stabilizer, you can see the difference when passing through a damaged road.
Smart Sequential Shifting
Smart Sequential Shifting is now available for truck drivers, if you want to activate it, you can go through the settings menu.
Suspension
You can now lower the truck's suspension to set the correct height when installing the trailer. Players can set the suspension button from the button settings menu.
